Diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) is of extreme importance to those choosing where they want to practice. As such, you'll find an increased focus on diversity in law firm recruitment and retention, with DE&I becoming pivotal to firm strategies across the US and abroad. Nowadays though, associates are looking more than ever at how firms are using their positions to take a stance on matters of DE&I through active practice, supporting areas of greatest importance for associates by championing grassroots action against systemic injustice.
